When you’re seeing message that icon is generated this usually means that you shouldn’t touch it.

This happens when you’re disabled option Disable Generated for some reason. It can be find in Grid Layout inspector.

What to do?

If you want to edit this icon instance, you have two options:

  1. Change the Grid Layout Setup Method to Manual.
  2. Modify the icon template that is set for this layout.
